alright, so a little update.
my off day, my diet was definitely on point. ate like a damn beast. the lovely part of weight training, is your body’s responses to needing energy to repair the torn muscles and develop new ones. you definitely get growing pains, like you’ve never gotten before.
i ate over 2500 calories on my off day. yesterday was my top day and i did awesome only down side is that i have come to realize that my left wrist that has lost cartilage from a long time ago when i was 18, is going to hinder me on my bench press. i was trying to go for 60 lb dumbbell bench press, but could not do it for the life of me. my muscles was saying yes but my wrist was like fuck no!
so, i have been advised to just progress to it. no way can i do it for strength training. so, i will stick with the 50s to 55s and just do high reps of 12, and move on afterward. also utilize machine chest press instead of free weights.
my forearms were burning as hell when i was done though, so i definitely see the benefits of it. did bent over rows with 110 lbs for 4 reps. press downs were 180 lbs for 4 reps. over head press on the machine, as my wrist was not having it with pushing exercises, did 100 lbs for 5 reps.
new stretch marks are approaching and i am 158 lbs as of this morning’s weighing. mind you, i weigh after a bowel movement (i know, tmi, but it needed to be said!) lol
